| Main activities and responsibilities | In this role I am responsible for the daily maintenance and service of several dozen privately owned aircraft and helicopters. Replace worn or broken parts, update the repair log according to company policies and test to ensure changed parts were installed correctly. Repair any corrupted software systems within the aircraft computer system. Use specially designed equipment to find any defects, cracks or otherwise undetectable problems in aircraft engines. Maintain a detailed log of all aircraft services, repairs and upgrades. Prepared computerized tests for new engine designs and aircraft wing redesigns.
