Social skills and competences Due to my studies, my social skills are above average. I have worked with children, adults, and senior citizens on a variety of different levels and situations. As volunteer work I was a mentor to young troubled teenagers. Doing this greatly strengthened my compassion, my ability to listen and my communication skills.

Organisational skills I have practiced my organizational skills in all of my previous jobs, and I believe that being organized is vital when performing any task. I displayed these skills by keeping track of various clients' personal information and developing a file system for my important documents (I also share my file system ideas with friends.)

Technical skills and competences My technical skills are at the beginner's level. From the various part-time jobs I have held I have operated a computerized cash register, copiers, scanners, printers, and other small hand tools.

Computer skills and competences I possess intermediate computer skills. As a student, I have worked with Windows XP, Vista and a variety of other office software programs. My internet usage skills are intermediate as well. The majority of my time spent on the web is dedicated to researching case studies.

Artistic skills and competences In my spare time, I create inspirational quotes and articles for a recreational center newsletter. I also play music for the recreational center, as I have been taking piano lessons (and still am) since the age of 10. I plan to continue working on this skill.

Other skills and competences Over the years, I have been taking courses to improve my human services skills and thus far, I have been performing greatly. I also volunteer at a local nursing so that I can become more comfortable with this field of work.
